Alyssa Flemming began her dance training at Maritime Dance Academy when she was six years old and continued there for 17 years. She trained in ballet, tap, jazz and modern and later completed the teacher training program and went on to teach for nine years while completing her Education in Interior Design. During that time she also took classes at Broadway Dance Centre in New York City and with Rebecca Lazier and Robert McCullom at Dans summer Dance. Alyssa spent three years performing with the Maritime Dance Performance Group and one year filling the role of assistant director. When not dancing she is either at the office where she works as a client services coordinator or chauferring her 4-year-old to her own dance class. Alyssa is also busily planning a wedding for this coming July and looks forward to writing her Bio next year as Alyssa Thomas.
