Amy MacKenzie Artist/MRI Analyst |
Amy grew up in Ottawa where she discovered her love of dance at an early age with ballet and jazz lessons. She obtained a B.Sc in Psychology in Montreal and then worked for two years in an MRI Research company. Her artistic impulses were too pushy to ignore however, so she moved to Halifax to study at NSCAD in photography, painting, textiles and fashion, often weaving in performative elements. She kept taking modern and ballet classes and analyzing MRI's too! Amy is thrilled to be dancing with tSdc this year. |
