May 1, 2008 Thirty Something Dance Co-operative presents Viva Less Vegas!

(Halifax, N.S.) – Come to Neptune Studio Theatre in Halifax and be transported to Vegas – tsdc style - with their new show “Viva Less Vegas” You will be greeted by showgirls, wowed by dancers, dazzled by costumes and entertained by comedy.

From the opening number, “All that Glitters”, the mood is set. What follows is sultry jazz, quirky modern, imaginative dances created around unusual subject matter, and beautiful movement. You’re invited to a Vegas wedding with all its sundry characters and will witness the world famous magicians Frigried & Roid in action. If you have been to their previous shows, this year’s Hinterlude will not disappoint and there is a bit of tap for added fun. The show culminates in the Viva Less Divas showgirl spectacular which will leave the audience wanting to get up and dance.Guest choreographers this year are Ruth-Ellen Kroll Jackson and Kym Butler.

“Viva Less Vegas” opens on Friday May 16 at 8pm, with two performances on Saturday May 17 at 3pm and 8pm.. at the Neptune Studio Theatre , 1593 Argyle street, Halifax. Tickets for the evening shows are $17 adult, $14 student/senior, and for the matinee, $15 adult and $12 student/senior, and are available at the door (cash only) or in advance through the website at www.tsdance.com
